Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases of training courses, practical training, starter kits and related services supplied by WELD™ Permanent Jewellery Training (“we”, “us” or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully before making a purchase. By ticking the box confirming that you agree to these Terms & Conditions and completing your purchase, you agree to be bound by them.
Where your purchase includes immediate access to our Online Permanent Jewellery Training Course, by agreeing to these Terms you expressly request that supply of the digital course begins immediately, before the end of the statutory 14-day cancellation period. You also acknowledge that once supply of the digital course has begun, you will lose your statutory right to cancel and receive a refund for that digital course element, subject always to your other statutory rights.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

  • Practical permanent jewellery training videos;
  • written learning materials;
  • Business, setup, pricing and supplier guidance;
  • Private WhatsApp support;
  • Video-call support where appropriate; and
  • certification subject to successful completion of the relevant course requirements.
  • The course is self-paced.

Access is for the registered student only and must not be shared with another person.

3. Immediate Access to Digital Course Content and 14-Day Cancellation Rights

Our Online Permanent Jewellery Training Course is digital content supplied through our online learning platform.

Access to the online course is provided immediately following purchase unless we expressly state otherwise.

By ticking the box confirming that you agree to these Terms & Conditions and completing your purchase, you expressly request and consent to the digital course being supplied immediately, before the end of the statutory 14-day cancellation period.

You also expressly acknowledge that once supply of the digital course has begun following your consent, you lose your statutory right to cancel the digital course and receive a refund for that digital element.

Accordingly, once access to the Online Permanent Jewellery Training Course has been provided, the £399 online course element is non-refundable, except where:

the digital content is faulty or misdescribed;
we fail to supply it as agreed; or
you otherwise have a statutory right to a refund or other remedy.

For students purchasing our £800 One-to-One In-Person Training package, the package comprises:

Online Permanent Jewellery Training – £399
One-to-One Practical Training Upgrade – £401

Immediate access to the £399 online course is provided following purchase. The consent and acknowledgement above therefore apply to that £399 digital element.

If you subsequently cancel the in-person element before the practical training has taken place, any refund due for the practical element will be dealt with separately in accordance with these Terms and your statutory rights.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights which cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

4. One-to-One In-Person Training

Our standard One-to-One In-Person Permanent Jewellery Training package is currently £800.

The £800 package comprises:

Online Permanent Jewellery Training – £399
One-to-One Practical Training Upgrade – £401

The in-person package includes access to the online course. Students are encouraged to begin studying the online materials before attending their practical training day and can continue referring to the online training afterwards.

Training takes place at our studio in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, unless another location has been specifically agreed in writing.

Training dates and times vary according to availability. The date confirmed on the student's booking confirmation will apply.

5. Cancellation of In-Person Training During the Cooling-Off Period

Where an in-person training package is purchased online, statutory cancellation rights may apply.

Where a student validly cancels within the applicable statutory cancellation period before their practical training has taken place, we will refund any refundable element of the booking in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the student's statutory rights.

Where the student has already requested and received immediate access to the £399 digital Online Permanent Jewellery Training Course and has provided the required consent and acknowledgement regarding loss of cancellation rights, the online course element will not be refundable.

In those circumstances, where the practical training has not yet taken place, the refundable practical-training element would ordinarily be £401.
The student will continue to have access to the online course they have purchased.

Different rules may apply where the required consent to immediate digital supply has not been obtained or where the consumer otherwise retains a statutory right to cancel.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling After the Cooling-Off Period

Training dates are reserved specifically for the individual student and may prevent us from accepting another booking for that date.

If you need to change your in-person training date, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where reasonable notice is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to transfer the booking to another available date.

Repeated changes, late cancellations or failure to attend may result in the practical training fee being non-refundable or an additional rescheduling charge being payable where permitted by law.

Any applicable charge will be communicated before a replacement date is confirmed.

Nothing in this section affects rights arising where we cancel the training or where the consumer has a statutory right to a refund.

7. Cancellation by WELD™ Permanent Jewellery Training

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change or cancel a training date.
Where this happens, we will offer an alternative date or an appropriate refund for the affected training element.
We are not responsible for consequential expenses such as travel, accommodation, childcare or loss of earnings. Students should therefore consider refundable or flexible travel and accommodation arrangements.

8. Starter Kits

Starter kits are optional unless expressly stated otherwise.
Our standard starter kit is currently £350 and does not include a welder.
Kit contents may occasionally change due to supplier availability. Where an item is substituted, we will aim to provide an item of equivalent purpose and appropriate quality.
Starter kits and other physical goods are subject to applicable consumer rights relating to goods purchased online.

9. Welders and Equipment

Welders are not included in the course fee or starter kit unless expressly stated otherwise.
We provide guidance on different welding machines based on our practical experience, but students are responsible for deciding which equipment is appropriate for their own circumstances and budget.

Where students attend in person, they may have the opportunity to try different available welders before purchasing their own equipment.

Unless specifically stated at the point of sale, WELD™ Permanent Jewellery Training does not sell the welding machines discussed during training.
