After enrolling, you’ll receive instant access to the complete online course. The modules guide you step by step through equipment, safety, welding techniques, materials, suppliers, pricing and launching your service.
You can learn at your own pace, pause and replay demonstrations, and revisit the course whenever needed.
Can I learn permanent jewellery online as a complete beginner?
Yes. Our online permanent jewellery training is designed for complete beginners, and no previous jewellery-making or welding experience is required.
Detailed close-up demonstrations break down each stage of measuring, fitting and welding. You can practise alongside the videos and contact us if you need additional guidance.
How long does the online training take to complete?
The course is self-paced, so there is no fixed deadline. Many students work through the training and begin feeling confident within approximately two weeks, although this depends on how regularly you practise.
You will have lifetime access, so there is no pressure to complete everything within a set period.
Will I receive support with online training?
Yes. Online students receive ongoing personal support from the Weld™ team.
You can contact us with questions about equipment, suppliers, welding problems or launching your service. We can also arrange one-to-one calls or video consultations when additional help is needed.
Do I need a welder or starter kit before enrolling?
No. You can begin the theory and equipment modules before purchasing a welder, tools or stock.
The course explains the available equipment options and includes direct supplier links so you can make informed purchases. If you would prefer to receive tools and practice materials, choose our online training with starter kit package. A welder is not included however feel free to contact us to ask about our favourite welder options and prices.
Is the online course accredited, and will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Our online permanent jewellery training is ABT accredited.
After successfully completing the course, you’ll receive a printable digital certificate that can be displayed in your business and used when arranging appropriate professional insurance.
Can I upgrade to in-person training later?
Yes. If you begin with online training and later decide you would benefit from hands-on support, you can upgrade to one-to-one in-person training and pay the difference.
How easy is it to learn permanent jewellery?
It’s much easier than you might think! With the right training and tools, most of our learners pick it up really quickly. Some even feel confident after just a few practice welds.
Our course is designed to make learning feel simple and stress-free, with clear step-by-step videos and plenty of tips to help you get it right from the start. We’re also on hand for extra support if you ever need it.
